Old Star Carignan Noir is a characterful French red wine from the South of France, produced by Olivier Coste. Made from Carignan, a traditional Mediterranean grape variety, it combines ripe fruit with the rustic, spicy character associated with southern French reds.

The wine offers aromas of blackberry, plum and ripe cherry, complemented by hints of Mediterranean herbs, pepper and gentle spice. On the palate, it is fruity and generous with pleasant freshness, soft tannins and a satisfying finish.

It pairs particularly well with grilled lamb, beef, charcuterie, roasted vegetables, Mediterranean dishes and mature cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C.
